The Victorian State Election

in

Carers Victoria has launched its #CarersCountToo campaign with a new election platform to keep you informed as we lobby for carers' needs in the lead up to the State election.

The launch is on the back of Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews' recent election pledge of over $50 million in funding for carer supports and services if re-elected. Carers Victoria's carer consultation and advocacy efforts in recent years were pivotal in achieving this historic outcome, in addition to the Andrews Labor Government Victorian Carer Strategy launched in July.

Carers Victoria is asking all parties in the Victorian election to make a similar commitment to Victorian carers. Our goal is to represent the voice of all carers and lobby for bipartisan support for the Victorian Government Carer Strategy in this year’s election. We’ll continue to lobby heavily and are calling on carers to do the same.

Visit the #CarersCountToo campaign page to find out how you can get involved and get active.Together we can make a difference!
